Statement of Faith
I believe there is only one true God.  He is evident in three different attributes (the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) but without a division of essence or being (Deut. 6:4, Isa. 9:6, Matt. 28:19, Jn. 10:30, 17:21, Acts. 1:8).
God the Father is creator of all life.  He reigns over His creation. He is omniscient, omnipotent and omnipresent.  He is fatherly to all who come to know Him through faith in Jesus Christ (Gen. 1:1, Deut. 1:31, Psa. 68:5, Psa. 89:26).
God the Son is the incarnate Jesus Christ.  He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born to the virgin Mary.  He was crucified and died on a cross after living a sinless life.  He was raised from the dead on the third day and returned to heaven to sit at the right hand of God the Father.  He is both fully God and fully man (Lk. 1:26-35, Jn. 19:18, Lk. 23:46).
God the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God.  He exalts Jesus, convicts the world of sin and enters into every believer at the moment of repentance and acceptance of Jesus as their Lord and Savior (Isa. 63:10-11, Jn. 14:26).
Humans are created by God and made in the image of God and as such, are worthy of dignity and respect.  They are created as male and female.  They have been given the gift of freewill and because of freewill made the choice to sin.  Sin caused separation from God (Gen. 1:27, Gen. 3, Rom. 3:23).
Salvation is offered by God to all who repent and believe in Jesus Christ.  Without the shedding of blood there can be no reconciliation between God and man.  A price must be paid for sin.  Jesus’ sinless life allowed Him to die in our place.  With belief in Jesus our sin is covered by His blood, and we are ushered into a personal relationship with God (Rom 10:9).
I believe in the inerrancy of Scripture (1 Tim. 3:16, Rev. 22:18-19).
